We want to share our Pork Leg with crispy skin.
This recipe is super easy to do and the result... well... simply delicious!!!
Juicy, perfectly seared and a distinct flavour.
Looks big for a gas BBQ isn't it? no worries... follow these simple instructions and you won't believe the mouthwatering result.
Rub in the pork leg with extra virgin olive oil, season it with salt and pepper and leave it rest for 10 minutes.
Preheat the BBQ to 200/250F. Put the rested pork leg on the easyQ grill with the skin facing up and set the fire to moderate, between medium and minimum to keep the heat up to 200F. Close the lid and leave it for 45 minutes. (check sporadically to make sure the heat is right to avoid overcooking on the outside only)
You can use a BBQ thermometer to check when it should be ready to turn over. As the pork should be ready when the internal reading of the thickest part reads 71C, then turn it over when it reads 40/50C. Raise the heat between medium and maximum and leave it for an extra 15/20 minutes.
All done!... serve the pork leg with your choice of salad.
